There’s a lot to say about the world and what’s happened over the past two years. With a global pandemic spreading, very little remains as we knew it. Many industries have had to adapt to meet their customers where they spend the better part of their time – at home. Companies are now tasked with making their products available to consumers at home if they want to stay relevant. Everything is fair game as long as users can stay safely at home.
We have compiled some of the most interesting events from our customers on COVID.
MyHeritage is a web-based technology company that enables users to discover their genealogy on an online platform. MyHeritage DNA, the company’s first offline product, took customers’ journey of discovery one step further by allowing them to take a DNA test that provides DNA matching and ethnicity estimates. The company ships DNA test kits to customers in a package that includes everything needed for a simple saliva swab test. The customer can then send the same package back for processing.
When COVID-19 hit, testing for the virus was in high demand. MyHeritage DNA test kits naturally became an ideal option for simple, sterile at-home testing. The simple kit allows for the convenience of testing at home. It also allows tests to be sent back to the lab via mail without any risk of exposure. MyHeritage used the same packaging design solutions we applied to our MyHeritage DNA kits to create the COVID-19 test kit. Packaging design solutions, Functionalities that enable safe and efficient use of testing and sending it back.
GoCube It's a smart, connected Hungarian cube that allows players to track the game on an app. The app can track the exact state of the cube and where it's being held. Instead of the usual YouTube video sequel or simply giving up on the cube, the GoCube provides step-by-step instructions on how to solve a cube based on the one you're holding in your hand, and will also provide challenges to improve your cube skills.
The experience of opening the GoCube is just as much fun as actually using it. Many unboxing videos have been made about the innovative unboxing experience (see our favorites below!). So much so that when the great minds at RedBull were debating how to move forward with the Rubik's Cube World Cup during the pandemic, they reached out to GoCube to make the event completely digital. In 2020 and 2021, the World Cup was held online. Players used GoCubes to solve and stream the positions of their cubes. The user-friendly packaging of the GoCube contributed greatly to the experience of using the product, which is compact enough to easily ship by mail and allows anyone to join in no matter where they are and despite the circumstances.

Woojer Creators of Haptic technology that provides an immersive experience when playing games, watching videos or even listening to music. The products are a vest and a strap that synchronize with the audio being played and match the sound with haptic feedback at six points on the upper body. All of this makes for an incredible experience – what you hear is what you feel.
For many, the ability to leave the house at all was not possible due to COVID. For the most part – people, including children, were confined to their homes. Woojer products are an opportunity for parents to surprise their children with the gift of being more active, without the risk of exposure. The experience of opening the intriguing black box to find an equally polished product. With the experience the vest provides, your children will move more and sit less, and be more engaged in the content they consume.
